The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is developing plans to rehabilitate the pavement on CT Route 133 in Bridgewater starting Spring 2024. The project involves rehabilitating the pavement on CT Route 133 from the intersection with Northrop Street (mile marker 3.76) to the intersection with CT Route 67 (mile marker 8.35).
The present schedule indicates that the design will be completed in October 2023, with construction anticipated to start in the spring of 2024, assuming acceptance of the project, availability of funding and receipt of any required right-of-way and environmental permits. This project will be undertaken with 0% federal and 100% state funds.
It is the CTDOT’s policy to keep the public informed and involved when such projects are undertaken, and that the community share its concerns with CTDOT to assist in the project's development. A public informational meeting will not be conducted for this project as its scope is considered routine maintenance.
