Mill & Fill Project: I-95 Southbound in Branford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a mill and fill resurfacing project will be performed on I-95 southbound from the Guilford/Branford Town Line to exit 54 (Cedar Street). This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, September 13 through Monday, October 2, 2023.

This project is an addition to the CTDOT’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 southbound from the Guilford/Branford Town Line to the exit 54 (Cedar Street) on ramp. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday night through Saturday morning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
