The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that 19 bridges will be metalized along the I-395 Corridor Between Thompson and Montville starting on July 17, 2023. The project consists of metalizing along with various superstructure repairs.
DOT Project No. 0172-0517 was awarded to Blast All, Incorporated at a cost of $26,373,659.00 on June 3, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed July 16, 2026. This project is administered by the Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich, CT.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Traffic will be impacted on I-395 between Montville and Thompson between the months of April 2023 through November 2025. Lane closures on the highway and local roads below will vary throughout construction and will take place during the contract hours of operation.
