The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing there will be temporary lane shifts and lane closures along I-95 northbound between Exits 91 and 92 during November.
Temporary lane shifts are being utilized to accommodate reconstruction of the right shoulder and bridge work along I-95 northbound between Exits 91 and 92. Lane closures are in place to accommodate this work as well as message boards are being utilized.
CTDOT Project No. 0058-0340 was awarded to American Industries, Inc. at a cost of $38,250,000.00 on January 21, 2023, and was scheduled to be completed November 30, 2024. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
There will be a right shoulder closure along I-95 northbound near the Exit 91 on-ramp. There will also be a left lane closure along I-95 northbound between Bridge 01808 Route 2 Liberty Street and Bridge 01812 Route 49 Pendleton Hill Road.
