Guiderail Upgrades in Bolton, East Hartford, Rocky Hill, and South Windsor
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 6 East/44 East at Morancey Road in Bolton, SR 502 Silver Lane by Simmons Road in East Hartford, Route 99 across from exit 24 ramps in Rocky Hill and Route 74 Ellington Road across from #2589 in South Windsor.
This project is scheduled to begin installation on Wednesday March 29, 2023.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 6 East/44 East at Morancey Road in Bolton, SR 502 Silver Lane by Simmons Road in East Hartford, Route 99 across from exit 24 ramps in Rocky Hill and Route 74 Ellington Road across from #2589 in South Windsor. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for installing this guiderail is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Total Fence will be doing this install beginning on Wednesday March 29, 2023, with a completion date of April 19, 2023.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
