Bridge Maintenance Project: Route 130 in Bridgeport.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Route 130 (Stratford Avenue) in Bridgeport.
The project consists of mechanical repairs to the Route 130, Bridge No. 3637 (Yellow Mill Drawbridge) in Bridgeport. This project is scheduled to occur during the day on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
This work will be performed by Mohawk Inc.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
The Route 130 (Stratford Avenue) Bridge No. 3637 located between Waterview Avenue and Seaview Avenue in Bridgeport will be closed during the weekday period from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists can follow the detour route as follows:
Westbound traffic – north on Seaview Avenue to west on Crescent Avenue to south on Waterview Avenue to Route 130.
Eastbound traffic – north on Waterview Avenue to east on Crescent Avenue to south on Seaview Avenue to Route 130.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
