Attenuator Upgrades on Interstate 91 in Hartford and Route 3 in Wethersfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that attenuator upgrades will be performed on Interstate 91 in Hartford and Route 3 in Wethersfield.
The project consists of upgrading the attenuators on Interstate 91 Northbound at exit 32B, Interstate 91 Southbound at exit 31 in Hartford and Route 3 at Elm Street in Wethersfield. This work is scheduled to be begin on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 to October 13, 2023,
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 91 Northbound at exit 32B, Interstate 91 Southbound at exit 31 in Hartford and Route 3 at Elm Street in Wethersfield. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for installing these attenuators is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Atlas Fence will begin this install on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
