The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a structural steel repair project will be performed at night on Interstate 95 Northbound in Norwalk.
The project consists of structural steel repair on Bridge# 00060 on I-95 Northbound in Norwalk. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Monday, June 20, 2022, through the morning of Thursday, June 23, 2022.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect right and center lane closures to occur on I-95 Northbound in Norwalk between Exit 14 (Fairfield Avenue) and Exit 16 (East Avenue). The work schedule for this project is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule might become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
