The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a structural steel repair project will be performed at night on Interstate 95 Northbound and Southbound in Milford.
The project consists of structural steel repair on Bridge# 00148 on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in Milford. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Monday, May 16, 2022, through the morning of Friday June 3, 2022.
No work will be performed on Monday evening, May 30, 2022 due to the Memorial Day holiday.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect various lane closures to occur on I-95 Northbound in Milford between Exit 38 (SR796 Milford Pkwy) and Exit 39A-B (US1 Boston Post Rd) and Southbound in Milford between Exit 40 (Woodmont Rd) to Exit 38 (SR796 Milford Pkwy).
The night work schedule for this project is from Monday through Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule might become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
