The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree removal operation will begin on Monday, October 24 - Friday, November 11, from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., near or adjacent to the railroad tracks. No road closures are planned to occur during the work. The tree clearing is part of advanced work on CTDOT’s Walk Bridge Program.
Tree Clearing Locations
Selective trees will be cleared at the following locations: Water Street at the former IMAX Theater; Fort Point Street at the railroad bridge; North side of the New Haven line between Fort Point Street and the Norwalk River; along the tracks behind Goldstein Place and the Northeast side of the East Norwalk Train Station.
