The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on Interstate 95 northbound and southbound, from the Madison/Guilford Town Line to the Rhode Island State Line.
The project consists of epoxy pavement-marking application on I-95 northbound and southbound from the Madison/Guilford Town Line to the Rhode Island State Line. This project is scheduled to begin on Sunday evening, October 2, 2022, through Friday morning, October 28, 2022. Work will end at 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning, October 7, 2022, and will resume at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, October 11, 2022, due to the Columbus Day Holiday.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
This moving operation will utilize two (2) state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns to guide motorists through the work zone. The nighttime work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
(Sunday evenings – Friday mornings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
