Slow Shoulder Rumble Strip Installation on Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in Hamden Northbound Exit 60 to Wallingford Town Line

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a Rumble Strip Installation project will be performed on Route 15 Merritt Parkway northbound Hamden to the Wallingford town line.

The project consists of 30,000 linear feet of rumble strip installation of the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) northbound in Hamden to the Wallingford town line. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, December 11, 2022 through Monday, December 12, 2022.

This project is included in the CTDOT 2022 Vendor Epoxy Paint Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) northbound from the Exit 60 on-ramp to Wallingford town line northbound. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Monday morning).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through work zones.
