Route 82 over the Connecticut River (East Haddam Swing Bridge) will be closed from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. every night starting on January 4, 2023 until January 20, 2023.
DOT Project No. 0041-0141 was awarded to American Bridge Company at a cost of $55,255,000 on June 7, 2022. It is scheduled to be completed February 25, 2025. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
There will be full bridge closures to vehicular traffic over the Connecticut River (Route 82) every night starting on January 4, 2023 until January 20, 2023. The road closures start at 7:00 p.m. and go until 6:00 a.m. the following day.
