The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that nighttime work will begin on Interstate 95 in Norwalk and Westport on August 7, 2022.
The proposed work consists of shifting the existing travel lanes to create a work zone in the shoulder at East Avenue overpass of I-95, as well as tree cutting and drilling the roadway surface between Interchanges 16 and 17.
DOT Project No. 0102-0295 was awarded to Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc at a cost of $103,411,848 on April 30, 2022, and is scheduled to be completed in November 2024. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 3 in New Haven.

Monday through Sunday between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
I-95 Southbound
Monday through Wednesday between 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Thursday through Friday between 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Saturday between 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Sunday between 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.
Traffic may also be impacted on adjacent streets and associated ramps Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, or 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
