The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a roadway milling project will be performed on Route 66 in East Hampton. The project consists of milling a 0.73-mile segment of Route 66 in East Hampton. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2022, through Monday, April 18, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 66 from Maple Street to the east junction of West Point Road in East Hampton. The regular work schedule for this project is from Thursday through Monday between a.m. and 4 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
