The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a roadway milling project will be performed on Service Route 646 (North Thames Street) in Norwich.
The project consists of milling an 0.18-mile segment of Service Route 646 (North Thames Street) in Norwich. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2022 through Friday, April 29, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Service Route 646 (North Thames Street) from Route 82 eastbound to Route 82 westbound in Norwich. The regular work schedule for this project is Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
