The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Service Route 629 (North Frontage Road, one-way) in Griswold.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.26-mile segment of Service Route 629 (North Frontage Road, one-way) in Griswold. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Friday, June 10, 2022, through Wednesday, June 29, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, July 18, 2022, through Friday, August 5, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Service Route 629 (North Frontage Road, one-way) from
Route 138 (Voluntown Road) to Route 164 (Preston Road) in Griswold. The regular work schedule for this project is Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
