The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 22 in North Branford.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 0.38 miles of Route 22 in North Branford. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, May 23, 2022, through Monday, June 6, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, May 23, 2022, through Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, June 5, 2022, through Monday, June 6, 2022.
No work will be performed from 6 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 until 8 p.m. Tuesday May 31 due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 22 from Dorie Road to Route 80 (Foxon Road). The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
