The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 33 in Wilton.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 0.38 miles of Route 33 in Wilton. This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, July 7, 2022 through Wednesday July 20, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, July 7, 2022 through Monday, July 11, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 17, 2022 through Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 33 from Mollbrook Drive to U.S. 7 (Gaylord Drive South). The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
