The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 193 in Thompson.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.54-mile segment of Route 193 in Thompson. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, June 20, 2022, through Thursday, June 23, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, July 11, 2022, through Thursday, July 14, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 193 from Route 200 (Thompson Hill Road) to East Thompson Road in Thompson. The regular work schedule for this project is Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
