The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 12 in Thompson.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.38-mile segment of Route 12 in Thompson. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, August 29, 2022 through Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Friday, September 30, 2022 through Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
This project is included in the CTDOT 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 12 from Route 200 (Thompson Hill Road) to Rawson Avenue in Thompson. The regular work schedule for this project is Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
