The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 114 in Orange-Woodbridge.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 3.32 miles of Route 114 in Orange-Woodbridge. This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, June 16, 2022 through Thursday, July 14, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, June 16, 2022 through Wednesday, June 28, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 through Thursday, July 14, 2022.
No work will be performed from 6 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 due to the Independence Day Holiday.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 114 from Muirfield Road to Sun Brook Road. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
