The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed in Windsor Locks on SR 401 (Schoephoester Road) from Hamilton Standard Road to Route 75 (Ella Grasso Turnpike) including the connector (SSR403-W) to Bradley International Airport.
The project DOT01710478CN “L” consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.86-mile segment of SR 401 (Schoephoester Road) in Windsor Locks from Hamilton Standard Road to Route 75 (Ella Grasso Turnpike) including the connector (SSR403-W) to the Bradley International Airport.
This project is scheduled to begin milling by Rafferty Fine Grading, Inc. on Monday June 20, 2022, to Thursday, June 23, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Sunday, June 26 19, 2022, to Wednesday July 6, 2022, by Galasso Materials.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 401 (Schoephoester Road) in Windsor Locks from Hamilton Standard Road to Route 75 (Ella Grasso Turnpike) including the connector (SSR403-W) to Bradley International Airport. The regular work schedule for this project is Sunday to Thursday from p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone
