The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a mill and fill resurfacing project will be performed on Interstate 95 in Stamford.
The project consists of mill and fill resurfacing of 2.46 miles of I-95 in Stamford. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, October 3, 2022 through Friday November 4, 2022. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, October 3, 2022 through Friday, November 4, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, October 3, 2022 through Friday, November 4, 2022.
No work will be performed from 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022, due to the Columbus Day Holiday.
This project is an addition to the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound and southbound from the Exit 6 off-ramp to the Exit 9 off-ramp. The night work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
