The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Interstate 91 Southbound in Cromwell.
The project consists of upgrading guiderail on I-91 Southbound in Cromwell. This work is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 29, 2022 through Thursday, June 10, 2022.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91 Southbound in Cromwell between the Rocky Hill Town Line and Exit 21. The initial regular work schedule for installing this guiderail is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting Wednesday, June 1, the regular work schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. No work will be performed around the Memorial Day holiday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
