Guiderail Upgrades in Somers and Enfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 186 and Service Road 404 in Somers and the Interstate 91 Southbound Exit 47W off-ramp in Enfield.
This work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 to Monday, November 14, 2022. No work will be performed from 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 due to the Columbus Day Holiday.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 186 and Service Road 404 in Somers and I-91 Southbound Exit 47W off-ramp in Enfield. The regular work schedule for installing this guiderail is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
