The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 9 Northbound Exit 28 New Britain.
This work is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 24, 2022, to Thursday October 27, 2022.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 9 Northbound, Exit 28 New Britain.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for installing this guiderail is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Atlas Fence will be starting Monday, October 24.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
