Concrete Header Repair on Interstate 95 Northbound in Greenwich

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a concrete repair project will be performed during the day on Bridge #00001 (Byram River) on Interstate 95 Northbound between Exit 21 (New York State Line) and Exit 2 (Doran Avenue) in Greenwich. This project is scheduled to occur on Saturday, December 17, 2022 with a rain date of Sunday, December 18, 2022.

The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 bridge maintenance program to support State Forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by State Forces.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect right lane and center lane closures to occur on I-95 Northbound between Exit 21 and Exit 2 in Greenwich.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule might become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
