The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a concrete repair project will be performed during the day on Bridge #174a (Q-Bridge) on Interstate 95 Northbound in New Haven.
The project consists of concrete deck repair on I-95 Northbound in New Haven between Exit 48 (Interstate 91 & 95 split) and Exit 51 (Route 1 Saltonstall Parkway). This project is scheduled to occur on Saturday, December 17,2022 with a rain date of Sunday, December 18, 2022.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 bridge maintenance program to support State Forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by State Forces.

Motorists can expect left lane and center lane closures to occur on Interstate 95 Northbound between Exit 48 and Exit 51 in New Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule might become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
