Closure of State Route 454 from the Indian Wells State Park entrance to Birch Bank Road
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an Emergency Tree Removal operation will require the closure of the roadway on State Route 454 from Indian Wells state Park Entrance to Birch Bank Road. No. 1.
The work is scheduled to occur in the daytime from Monday September 19, 2022, through Tuesday September 20, 2022.
The Tree removal operation will be performed by Distinctive Tree.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect road closure to occur on State Route 454 in Shelton. The work schedule for this project is from Monday through Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
