Closure of Route 146 over Sybil Creek in Branford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that Route 146 over Sybil Creek in Branford will be closed from October 17 to October 31, 2022 so that the existing Bridge No. 2675 can be replaced. A detour will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.

The project consists of the Replacement of Bridge No. 2675 State Route 146 Over Sybil Creek in Branford.

DOT Project No. 0014-0177 was awarded to C.J. Fucci Construction at a cost of $ 1,534,958.90 on July 1, 2020 and is scheduled to be completed May 26, 2023.  This project is administered by the Office of Construction, District 3 in New Haven.
