Bridge Maintenance, Asphaltic Plug Joint Installation on Service Route 712 Northbound & Southbound in Shelton.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Service Route 712 Northbound and Southbound in Shelton.

 

The project consists of Asphaltic Joint Installation to the Service Route 712 Bridge Street in Shelton.  This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Sunday October 23, 2022, to the morning of Thursday, November 10, 2022.

 

The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

 

Motorists can expect lane closures on Service Route 712 Northbound & Southbound in Shelton between Route 110 (Howe Avenue) and Route 34 (Roosevelt Drive) in Shelton and Derby.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.  (Sunday evenings through Thursday mornings).

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
