Aerial Cable Maintenance Operation in Fairfield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an aerial cable maintenance operation will require State Police to perform rolling roadblocks Northbound and Southbound on Route 15 between Exits 44 and 46 in Fairfield.

 The night work is scheduled to occur the night of Sunday December 4, 2022 through the morning of Monday December 5, 2022.

The Aerial Cable Maintenance Operation will be performed by United Illuminating.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect Rolling Roadblock lane closures to occur on Route 15 Northbound and Southbound in Fairfield. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Route 15 Southbound and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Route 15 Northbound (Sunday night through Monday morning).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
