Surveying Activities Scheduled on Route 15 Wilbur Cross Parkway in New Haven and Woodbridge
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) northbound and southbound, west of Heroes Tunnel in New Haven and Woodbridge. This operation is scheduled to occur on Saturday, June 26 and Saturday, July 10.
This survey work is being completed in advance of DOT Project Number 92-689, to support the design process for Route 15 interchange 59 improvements. This surveying operation will be performed by state forces.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) northbound and southbound in New Haven and Woodbridge in the vicinity of Exit 59. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
