The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a pavement preservation project will be performed on Route 25 ramps northbound (Rt.15/Rt.25 Danbury/Trumbull to Daniels Farm Rd.) and southbound (Daniels Farm Rd. to Old Town Rd./White Plains Rd.) in Trumbull.
The project consists of partial-depth concrete pavement roadway repairs on a 5.00-mile segment of Route 25 northbound and southbound in Trumbull. This work is scheduled to occur Monday, May 17, 2021, through Friday, June 4, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 pavement preservation program and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction LLC.
Motorists can expect various ramp closures on Route 25 northbound and southbound between Exit 9 (Daniels Farm Rd) and Exit 6 (Old Town Rd.) in Trumbull. Traffic control devices and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00am to 6:00pm (northbound) and 6:00am to 4:00pm (southbound) (Monday through Friday) No work performed on the days before, during or after the Memorial Day holiday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
