The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 69 in Waterbury from the Prospect town line to Frost road.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 5.21-mile segment of Route 69. The milling portion of this project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, July 25, 2021, through Friday, August 13, 2021. The resurfacing portion of this project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, August 15, 2021, through Friday, August 27, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Sunday through Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
