The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 30 from the Tolland town line to Route 140 in Ellington.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.76-mile segment of Route 30 from the Tolland town line to Route 140 in Ellington. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Monday, April 26, 2021 to Tuesday, April 27, 2021. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Monday, May 3, 2021 to Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 30 from the Tolland town line to Route 140 in Ellington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
