Joint and Crack Sealing Project on I-95 Northbound in Westport and Fairfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that joint and crack sealing project will be performed on I-95 northbound in Westport and Fairfield, with work occurring from Sunday, May 23, 2021, through Friday, May 28, 2021.
Traffic control personnel, signing patterns, and a truck-mounted attenuator unit will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound from Route 33 (exit 17) to northbound exit to U.S. 1 (Exit 24). The night work schedule is 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
