The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an asphaltic plug joint project will be performed on Bridge 05963 carrying Route 104 (Long Ridge Road) northbound and southbound in Stamford. Work is scheduled to occur Monday, July 12, 2021, through Friday, July 23, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Application.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 104 (Long Ridge Road) northbound and southbound from Route 137 to Loughran Avenue in Stamford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday night through Friday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
