The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a highway illumination repair project will be performed on I-84 in Danbury.
The work consists of repairing highway illumination lighting on I-84 westbound in Danbury between Exits 5 and 3, with work occurring in the left lane/shoulder. Work is scheduled to begin and end on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 west bound. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Saturday).
