Guiderail Upgrades on State Service Road 549 (Birdseye Road) in Farmington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on State Service Road 549 (Birdseye Road) in Farmington. Work is anticipated to occur on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, to Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
Motorists can expect lane closures on State Service Road 549(Birdseye Road). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for installing this guiderail is 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
