Guiderail upgrades on Route 9 northbound in Berlin
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a guiderail upgrade project will be performed on Route 9 northbound in Berlin.
The project consists of upgrading guiderail on Route 9 northbound in Berlin. Work is scheduled to occur on Monday, September 13, 2021, to Friday, October 8, 2021.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 9 northbound in Berlin from the northbound Exit 23, Christian Lane on-ramp, to .5 miles prior to Exit 24. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
