Expansion Joint Repairs on the Baldwin Bridge Carrying I-95 Northbound over the Connecticut River in Old Saybrook
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that expansion joint repairs will be performed on the Baldwin Bridge carrying I-95 northbound in Old Saybrook. Work will occur on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, and Wednesday, September 1, 2021, between 7 PM and 2 AM.
Motorists can expect the high speed and left center lane to be closed on the Baldwin Bridge carrying I-95 northbound. Motorists can expect lane closures from the Exit 67 off-ramp to the Exit 70 off-ramp and on Route 9 southbound from Exit 2 to the I-95 northbound on-ramp.
Traffic control vehicles, variable message board, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
