Bridge Repairs - Milling and Resurfacing Project, Gold Star Bridge (#3819), I-95 Northbound over the Thames River in New London.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing the Gold Star Bridge (#3819), I-95 northbound over the Thames River in New London. This project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, October 31, 2021, to Thursday, November 4, 2021, by Waters Construction Company.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on the Gold Star Bridge (#3819), I-95 northbound over the Thames River in New London. State troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
