Bridge Maintenance Activities on I-95 Southbound in Greenwich
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will occur on Bridge 00001 on I-95 southbound in Greenwich.
Work is scheduled to occur the night of Monday, August 9, 2021, through the morning of Friday, August 20, 2021.
Motorists can expect various lane closures on Interstate 95 southbound between Exit 2 (Greenwich) and the New York state line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday night through Friday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
