August 15, 2012 - Public Hearing

Hearing Notice - The School Building Projects Advisory Council, established pursuant to section 10-292q of the Connecticut General Statutes, will hold a public hearing, scheduled on August 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 1C of the Legislative Office Building (LOB). The public is invited to provide testimony to the Council regarding (1) how to improve Connecticut’s current school building process, (2) model plans for school building projects or (3) school building costs per square foot space standards.

At least one day before the hearing, please submit your request to speak and provide written testimony to the Council’s administrator at Lisa.Rochester@ct.gov with “SBPAC public hearing testimony” in the subject line. When submitting your request, please indicate which of the topics you’ll be addressing. If, for some reason, you are unable to e-mail your request and testimony prior to the hearing, please sign up to speak and submit 10 copies to the Council’s staff a half hour before the start of the hearing in the LOB.

All public hearing testimony, written and spoken, is public information. As such, it may be made available on the Council’s website and indexed by internet search engines.
