File School Construction Change Orders

Eligibility

Any change made to a project that has received a grant commitment letter from the Office of Grants Administration - whether the change results in an added cost (project increase), a reduction in cost (project credit), or no cost (allowance work) - must be received at our office and date stamped with a “received date” within six months of issuance in order to be eligible for review. For projects with a total project cost greater than ten million dollars, eligible change orders cannot exceed five percent of the total project cost authorized by the Office of Grants Administration. Only change orders and change directives that have been reviewed and have had a determination of eligibility letter issued by the Office of Grants Administration are eligible for reimbursement.

NOTE: Effective September 23, 2015, all State Change Order Summaries relating to the school construction grant program must be submitted in electronic format using a completed FORM SCG-043.CO State Change Order Summary, to be considered for review and determination of eligibility.
