To be considered for an examination, you must submit a completed application through the OEDM Learning Management System, including documentation, for review by OEDM and the State Fire Marshal.  No paper applications will be accepted.

Written exams are offered in February, May, August and November.  Practical exams are offered in November and April. 

Once you are approved, reference the Related Resources tab on the left navigation column to find the list of code books that you’ll have to purchase and bring to the exam, along with directions and testing policies.
