Can Connecticut State employees donate vacation and personal leave accruals to other employees?
Connecticut General Statutes 4-40 and 5-200(p), Item No. 9023E (PDF), permit executives in the EX compensation plan and gubernatorial appointees in the MP plan to donate their vacation and personal leave to fellow EX plan executives or MP plan gubernatorial appointees who are absent due to a long-term illness or injury.
