The Department of Transportation (DOT) owns and operates two seasonal ferries across the Connecticut River. One runs between Rocky Hill and Glastonbury, and the other between Chester and Hadlyme. CT also has three interstate ferries that travel from CT to Block Island, RI; Long Island, NY; or Port Jefferson, NY.
